How Many People In The Us Have Atherosclerosis

ACADEMY AS A GAME OF THE GOOSE

is the new online magazine Clouds: HOW TO PLAY THE ACADEMY THE GOOSE. The special gives voice to a group of (so-called) "precarious Research, University of Turin, who decided to inhabit the space of political action, offered by the editors, but in a non-programmatic exploration. Start a real survey research is a way of expressing dissent against the government's recent moves, the simplifications of propaganda (and scandal vernacular) that affect the debate on the university, but also a small attempt to counter the common sense that denying public benefits of research.

Scientific research is an objective all too convenient polemic. Compared to hospitals and schools, its value is less evident in the perception of the overwhelming majority of citizens. Just as the Welfare Queen mentioned by Ronald Reagan during the election rallies in 1980 that would have led to the U.S. presidency: a fat woman - where "fat" actually stood for "black" - going around in limousine at the expense of public health care. As if to say that if the State ceases to dispel the left and right to welfare purposes, will be possible to recognize and reward merit. The story is false, as evidence that the obsession to waste the public is inflated by dint of hyperbole, as the bar on the front pages of newspapers, and secondly, it is based on the use a caricature that is raised to the representation of the system. Why

Academy as snakes and ladders? The metaphor of an old board games, which has existed for five hundred years, but changes slightly with each new edition offers a description of the academic world from the inside, recording overlapping conditions, rules and actors that make up the scenario on which knock down recent reform efforts. It is an obstacle course where you need to consider the board, players and rules.
