Around midnight on Monday the inmates of the purple Cie course Brunelleschi in Turin have some mattresses on fire to protest the beating of a comrade by the guards. Nothing serious, for heaven's sake: the initial fire was quickly extinguished by firefighters. But this small blaze was enough to restore calm among the guards, and make him let go.
