Chi ha un minimo di familiarità con il garage-punk conoscerà sicuramente i Mummies, Californian group from fear active since the late '80s. One of those groups who do not know any way to play (in a strictly technical sense of the word), can not really give off a charge recently. Gojeria addition to the total of their costumes (not the best I could do), the group is known in the environment for total rejection of the CD. In fact they only ever printed on vinyl (except for live-reunion of 2000, "Death by Unga Bunga") on the back and usually there is always a message "Fuck cds." Other goodies: the Pontiac Ambulance you see on the cover of the album is the same as that used for their tour around the U.S.. I truly believe that their live Split your ass, even in the literal sense: It is said that the Mummies are the top ten of the most rude of all time and that they used to overwhelm unrepeatable insults the audience at their concerts ..
"Never Been Caught" is their second album, in my opinion one of the coolest.
