Known to most for having played three of their songs ("Plateau," "Lake of Fire" and "Oh Me") with Nirvana during the mythological Unplugged in New York, the brothers Kirkwood liked to stock up on drugs and alcohol and go into the desert to create endless jam session. Punk, country and psychedelia are interwoven, taking a charge I would say primitive. Another essential notation: the band has released no less than 7 albums on SST Records, the historic California label founded by Black Flag and Minutemen counted, Husker Du, Sonic Youth and Dinosaur Jr.
